MOSI Fieldhouse - Construction Manager at Risk

Background
The Tampa Sports Authority (TSA) has issued this Request for Proposal (RFP) to find a qualified Construction Manager at Risk to oversee the development of the MOSI Fieldhouse located on the MOSI property in Tampa, Florida.

The TSA is an independent special district created for constructing and managing sports and recreational facilities in the City of Tampa and Hillsborough County. Its mission is to enhance economic development and quality of life through sports and recreation.

Work Details
The selected Construction Manager at Risk will be responsible for managing all phases of the construction project from conception to completion. This includes ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

The contractor must provide necessary documentation, including a proposal guarantee and bid bond, and comply with insurance requirements specified in the RFP. Additional responsibilities include attending mandatory pre-proposal meetings, conducting site visits, and responding to any inquiries or requests for clarification regarding the proposal.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be awarded by June 15, 2026, and will continue until completion of the project, which includes obtaining a certificate of occupancy.

Place of Performance
The construction will take place at the MOSI property located at 4801 E. Fowler Avenue, Tampa, FL 33617.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide proof of active registration with the Florida Department of State; Division of Corporations prior to starting work. They must also have all necessary licenses and permits required by state and local authorities.
