Mobile Medical Unit Broward County

Background
The State of Florida, Department of Health (DOH) is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) to procure a Mobile Medical Unit. The objective is to obtain competitive pricing for the unit that will enhance the Department's ability to provide medical services in Broward County.

Work Details
The contract involves the provision of a Mobile Medical Unit based on the specifications outlined in Attachment A. The unit must be a 2025 Ford F-450 model or an approved equivalent, measuring 25 feet in length and 90 inches in width.

Key specifications include:
- Interior features such as vinyl-covered walls, blinds for windows, heavy-duty cushioned flooring, a minimum 15,000 BTU air conditioner, a commercial-grade generator set (10kw), restroom facilities with necessary fixtures, recessed LED lighting, and medical-grade appliances.
- Exterior requirements include two access doors, a handicapped access ramp, slip-resistant steps, exterior LED lighting fixtures, a powered awning, and automated vehicle leveling systems.
- Safety features like back-up cameras and alarms are also required.
- A warranty of at least one year against defects is necessary.
- Delivery must occur by March 14, 2025, to the specified address in Davie, FL. Onsite training for staff on the use of the vehicle and its components must be provided at no additional cost within seven days post-delivery.

Period of Performance
The contract term is anticipated to be one year starting from December 1, 2024 or from the date of contract execution if later.

Place of Performance
The Mobile Medical Unit will be delivered to Florida Department of Health located at 2240 SW 70th Ave, Davie, FL 33315.
