Miami-Dade County, hereinafter referred to as the County, as represented by the Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces (PROS) Department, is soliciting proposals from interested parties to provide market research and business planning services to the County, as may be required.
Background
Miami-Dade County, represented by the Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces (PROS) Department, is seeking proposals for market research and business planning services. PROS is one of the largest park agencies in the U.S., serving over 27 million visitors annually. The goal of this contract is to enhance the management and operational efficiency of the park system.

Work Details
The selected Proposer will conduct comprehensive market research and business planning for PROS, which includes:

1) Market Research:
- Analysis of existing markets, needs assessments, segmental analysis, trends analysis, customer profiles, demographics.
- Recommendations for market improvements and marketing methods.

2) Business Planning:
- Analysis of current business practices and compliance.
- Comparative best practices analysis and technical consultation for business proposals.
- Feasibility analysis and commercial recreation analysis.
- Preparation of business plans including revenue/expenditure forecasting and financing strategies.
- Facilitating public engagement to support these services.
- Assisting with legislative approvals necessary for implementing solutions.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract term is five (5) years.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within Miami-Dade County.
