Background
The State of Florida, Department of Health (Department) is seeking competitive bids for the provision of an ADA-compliant exam room and blood draw mobile clinic vehicle specifically for the Marion County Health Department.
This initiative aims to enhance healthcare accessibility and services in the region.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of one operational mobile clinic unit, specifically a 2024 Ford E450 or an approved equivalent, by January 30, 2025.
The specifications include:
- Chassis: New Ford E450 with a 14,500 GVWR, 7.3L V8 Gas Engine, and 6 Speed Automatic Transmission.
- Body Details: Minimum dimensions for exam and intake rooms, compliance with 50 state emissions standards, and various features such as dual batteries, a 55-gallon fuel tank, LED lighting, and a medical-grade refrigerator.
- Additional equipment includes a Spa Source Chair for OBGYN use, a hand wash sink in the exam room, a first aid kit, and various safety features like smoke detectors and a backup alarm.
- The contractor must also provide onsite training for staff on vehicle use within seven days after delivery.

Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to last for one year starting from September 1, 2024 or from the contract execution date if later.
