Management and Operation of the MIA Hotel

Background
Miami-Dade County, represented by the Miami-Dade County Aviation Department, is soliciting proposals for the management, operation, and maintenance of a full-service hotel at Miami International Airport (MIA). The goal is to ensure first-class service and amenities for travelers. The contract will be awarded for an initial period of five years with an option to renew for an additional five years.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for managing a hotel with 257 rooms and 5 suites located in Terminal E of MIA. Responsibilities include:

- Operating and maintaining the hotel in a clean and first-class manner.
- Providing trained personnel.
- Ensuring guest safety and security.
- Delivering exceptional customer service.
- Developing a marketing plan to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Establishing rental rates for rooms and meeting spaces.
- Assisting in disaster response efforts.
- Coordinating food and beverage services with an external operator.
- Submitting weekly personnel schedules.
- Maintaining facilities according to departmental standards.
- Providing comprehensive training programs for staff on customer service.
- Submitting monthly financial statements and annual budgets.
- Ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations.

Period of Performance
The contract will last for five years with one optional five-year renewal period.

Bidder Requirements
