Miami-Dade County, Florida, through its Board of County Commissioners and the Miami-Dade Aviation Department, is seeking a private sector operator to manage, maintain, and operate the Public Parking Facilities at Miami International Airport (MIA). Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the operation, management, and maintenance of various public parking facilities at MIA. This includes multi-level garages, a two-story lot (Park1), a Central Collection Plaza, a Parking Access and Revenue Control System (PARCS), various entrances and exits, a taxicab lot, one remote parking area, and associated office space with furniture and equipment.
The contractor must ensure that all operations are conducted in a first-class manner while adhering to the standards set forth by the Miami-Dade Aviation Department. Additionally, the contractor will handle gross revenues generated from these facilities and is required to deposit these revenues into designated accounts as per specified procedures.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence on a date specified in the agreement for an initial term of five (5) years. The County has the option to renew the contract for one additional five (5) year term at its discretion.
