Lift Station Point Repairs and Improvements

Background
The City of Clearwater is issuing this contract for on-call repairs and rehabilitation of lift stations, as well as adjacent force mains and gravity sewers.
The goal is to maintain and improve the infrastructure related to wastewater management, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and enhancing service reliability.

Work Details
The contractor will provide on-call services for repairs and rehabilitation of lift stations, including but not limited to:
- Maintenance and repair of existing lift stations.
- Rehabilitation of adjacent force mains and gravity sewers.
- Compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations regarding wastewater management.
- Implementation of best practices for construction site erosion and sediment control management measures as per EPA guidelines.
- Adherence to the specifications outlined in the Technical Specifications document, including design criteria for submersible wastewater lift stations, pump specifications, wet well requirements, and safety measures.

Period of Performance
The estimated project duration is 365 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed, with three optional one-year renewals at the discretion of the City.

Place of Performance
Work will be performed at various locations within the City of Clearwater where lift stations are situated.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must pre-qualify by demonstrating necessary facilities, equipment, financial resources, and experience.
Bidders must hold valid licenses/registrations with the State of Florida and Pinellas County.
Additionally, bidders must comply with Section 287.087 Florida Statutes regarding a Vendor Drug-Free Workplace program.
