License Plate Recognition System For Jso

Background
The City of Jacksonville, through its Fire and Rescue Department, is seeking bids for a License Plate Recognition System (LPR) for the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO).
This initiative aims to enhance public safety and law enforcement capabilities by utilizing advanced technology for vehicle identification. The project may be partially funded by the Federal Government, necessitating compliance with federal regulations.

Work Details
The contract includes the provision of the following items and services:
1. Flock Safety Falcon LPR – License Plate Reading camera system:
- Features include 24/7 Hot List Alerts, Night Vision, Expanded Network Access (Local, State, & National), maintenance-free subscription fee, capability to identify vehicles by make and color, solar or A/C powered, vehicle capture speed up to 100 mph, and vehicle capture distance up to 150 feet.
2. Professional Installation:
- Includes permitting and installation services.
3. Flock Safety Falcon Flex – License Plate Reading camera system:
- Similar features as the Falcon LPR system with flexible mounting options (non-permanent).
All items must be new and carry a manufacturer's warranty.
Delivery must be completed no later than July 1, 2025.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution of the purchase order or contract and will continue until completion and acceptance of the stated scope of work.
The delivery deadline for all products is July 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
The geographic locations for performance include various sites within Jacksonville, Florida.
