Description

The City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida (City) is seeking qualified, experienced and licensed firm(s), hereinafter referred to as Contractor, Bidder or Proposer, to provide a turnkey, dynamic Fa ade Lighting System (DFLS) at the Las Olas Parking Garage for the City, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Request for Proposals (RFP).
Background
The City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is seeking qualified, experienced, and licensed firms to provide a turnkey dynamic Façade Lighting System (DFLS) at the Las Olas Parking Garage. This initiative aligns with the City's mission to enhance public spaces and improve the aesthetic appeal of municipal facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing a complete Façade Lighting System that includes design, installation, and maintenance. The system should be dynamic, allowing for various lighting effects and colors to enhance the visual appeal of the Las Olas Parking Garage.

The contractor must ensure compliance with all specifications outlined in the Request for Proposals (RFP), including but not limited to:
1) Installation of energy-efficient LED lighting;
2) Integration with existing electrical systems;
3) Provision of a control system for dynamic lighting effects;
4) Maintenance services post-installation;
5) Compliance with all local codes and regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award by the City and is expected to last for three years, with an option for two additional one-year extensions if mutually agreed upon by both parties.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Las Olas Parking Garage located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
