Landscape Maintenance Services

Background
The University of North Florida (UNF) is seeking to enhance and maintain multiple areas across its campus and surrounding properties through a competitive solicitation for Landscape Maintenance Services. The goal is to ensure the aesthetic and functional quality of the landscape, supporting the university's mission as a public body corporate.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive landscape maintenance services, which include but are not limited to: pest control, maintenance of trees, shrubs, plants, and flowers, as well as the application of fertilizers, herbicides, and plant nutrients.

The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for these services. Specific requirements include holding a Fertilization and Pest Control Applicator license in Duval County and the State of Florida. Additionally, the contractor must demonstrate experience with similar projects and comply with all relevant regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2025, and will run for an initial period of three years until June 30, 2028. There is an option to renew for one additional three-year period based on satisfactory performance.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the University of North Florida campus located at 1 UNF Drive, Jacksonville, Florida 32224.
