Background
The Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department is seeking quotations for the purchase and delivery of operational tools, specifically 2/0 Straight Link Coil Chain (Zinc Plated), to support parks maintenance, facility operations, and general infrastructure activities.
This solicitation is part of the Miami-Dade County Pool of Prequalified Vendors.

Work Details
The contract involves the supply and delivery of 2/0 Straight Link Coil Chain (Zinc Plated), with a total length of 225 feet per pail. The chain must meet the following specifications:
- Made from low carbon steel or equivalent industrial-grade steel
- Zinc plated finish for corrosion resistance
- Conform to applicable ASTM, ANSI, or equivalent industry standards for welded chain products
The packaging must securely band or package the chain to prevent tangling or damage. The vendor is responsible for ensuring that all products are free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on the first calendar day of the month succeeding approval by the County Mayor or designee and will remain in effect until all goods are delivered and accepted by the County’s authorized representative. The quoted prices will be valid for twelve (12) months from the bid due date.

Place of Performance
Delivery is required at Kendall Warehouse located at 10775 SW 84th Street, Miami, Florida 33173.

Bidder Requirements
This solicitation is designated as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Set-Aside. Participation is limited to vendors currently certified as a Small Business Enterprise under applicable SBE requirements. Vendors must maintain an active SBE certification at the time of bid submission.
