Jfrd Annual Fire Extinguisher Service, Repair, Recharge & Hydrostatic Testing

Background
The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department (JFRD) is seeking to procure annual fire extinguisher service, repair, recharge, and hydrostatic testing for the years 2025 and 2026. This contract aims to ensure that all fire extinguishers used by JFRD are maintained in compliance with safety standards and operational readiness.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services: annual service, repair, recharge, and hydrostatic testing of fire extinguishers. The scope of work includes ensuring that all fire extinguishers are inspected, tested, and maintained according to applicable codes and standards. The contractor must also provide necessary parts for repairs and replacements as needed. The estimated quantity of extinguishers to be serviced will be determined based on JFRD's needs during the contract period.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a two-year period from 2025 to 2026, with options for three one-year renewals subject to mutual agreement between the contractor and the City of Jacksonville.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within Jacksonville, Florida, specifically at JFRD facilities.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be legally authorized to conduct business in Duval County and must comply with all local licensing requirements. Bidders are required to provide proof of applicable local business licenses and demonstrate experience in similar projects. Additionally, bidders must adhere to the Equal Business Opportunity Program encouraging participation from Jacksonville Small and Emerging Businesses (JSEBs).
