Janitorial Services for Corridors Program Offices in Kissimmee, Florida

Background
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for Janitorial Services for its Corridors Program Offices located in Kissimmee, Florida. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the facilities are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, supporting the Department's mission to provide safe and efficient transportation systems.

Work Details
The contractor will provide janitorial services at three locations: 1128 Celebration Blvd., 1130 Celebration Blvd., and 1142 Celebration Blvd., Kissimmee, FL. Services must be performed between 5:00 PM and 6:00 AM, five days a week (Monday through Friday), with potential adjustments for state holidays.

The contractor must use its own employees and cannot subcontract without prior written approval from the Department. An experienced onsite supervisor must be present during all work hours. The contractor is responsible for adhering to safety standards, reporting any issues with the facilities, and ensuring that no hazardous materials are used. Additionally, the contractor must ensure energy conservation by turning off lights when not in use and securing doors.

Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to begin upon execution and will last for two years, with potential renewals based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
Janitorial services will be performed at the FDOT Corridors Program Offices located at 1128, 1130, and 1142 Celebration Blvd., Kissimmee, Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered in the State of Florida’s MyFloridaMarketplace system by the bid opening date. Out-of-state bidders must be authorized to do business in Florida and hold necessary licenses if required by the Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

Bidders must also certify that they are not on any Scrutinized Companies Lists as per Section 287.135 of Florida Statutes.
