Janitorial Services at the Duval County Courthouse and State Attorney's Office

Background
The City of Jacksonville is seeking to procure janitorial services for the Duval County Courthouse Complex, which includes the Duval County Unified Courthouse and the Ed Austin Building (State Attorney's Office).
The goal of this contract is to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of these public facilities, thereby supporting the mission of the City to provide a clean and safe environment for its citizens.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive janitorial services as outlined in the bid documents. This includes daily cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and other related services necessary to maintain a clean environment in both buildings.
Specific requirements include:
1. Cleaning of all floors, carpets, and surfaces.
2. Regular sanitation of restrooms and break rooms.
3. Removal of trash and recycling from all areas.
4. Restocking supplies such as toilet paper and soap in restrooms.
5. Periodic deep cleaning services as required by the City.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to last for a period determined by the City, with specific start and end dates to be outlined in the final agreement.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at two locations: 501 West Adams Street (Duval County Unified Courthouse) and 311 West Monroe Street (Ed Austin Building), both located in Jacksonville, Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet several mandatory minimum requirements including:
1) Proof of applicable local business license if located within Duval County;
2) Submission of the last annual financial statement;
3) A list of contracts held for the previous thirty-six months;
4) At least three verifiable references demonstrating experience in cleaning multi-story buildings over 1,000,000 square feet;
5) A list of commercial-grade equipment intended for use;
6) Evidence of at least thirty-six months in business performing commercial janitorial services;
7) An established Federal Employee Identification Number;
8) Establishment of an operating office within Duval County post-award.
