ITQ-MP-26-14 Relocation of Beehives

Background
The Town of Davie, Florida is seeking bids from qualified licensed contractors to provide relocation services for bees, beehives, and swarms at Town-owned facilities and properties. The goal of this contract is to ensure safe and effective relocation of these insects in compliance with local regulations.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following services:
- Relocation of bees, beehives, and swarms from Town-owned facilities and properties.
- All work must be performed in accordance with applicable laws, ordinances, rules, regulations, and permits.
- The contractor must provide licensed and insured technicians to perform all work.
- An on-site supervisor must be assigned who is fully conversant in safety procedures.
- Proper disposal of any waste resulting from the work must be conducted at an approved facility.
- The contractor is responsible for any damage to public or private property during the performance of work.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to continue until the completion of all required services as specified in the solicitation documents.

Place of Performance
All services will be performed at various Town-owned facilities and properties within the Town of Davie, Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be licensed contractors with experience in providing similar relocation services. They are required to have proper insurance coverage and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations. Additionally, bidders must provide satisfactory evidence of their experience in similar work prior to contract award.
