Background
The City of Homestead, Florida, is seeking a qualified vendor to perform fiscal year-end inventory counting services. The goal of this contract is to improve operational efficiencies by ensuring accurate inventory counts at the end of the fiscal year.
Work Details
The selected vendor will provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and expertise required to complete the inventory counting services. Services are scheduled from September 23, 2026, through September 30, 2026, with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM daily.
The vendor will be responsible for using provided items such as pencils, clipboards, scales, box cutters, tape, calculators, gloves, aprons, step stools, and water. The City will provide additional items including sign-in sheets, count sheets, dots/label stickers, a map of the warehouse interior, ladders and mosquito repellent if requested.
The vendor must follow specific procedures for counting items and maintaining records as outlined in the Statement of Work attached as Exhibit A.
