Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) / Transportation Management Center (TMC) Operations

Background
The State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is seeking proposals for the management and operation of the District Six Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Transportation Management Center (TMC).
The goal is to provide comprehensive support for 24/7 operations across Miami-Dade and Monroe counties, enhancing traffic management and traveler information dissemination.
This contract aims to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of transportation services in the region.

Work Details
The selected Consultant will provide management and operational support from the SunGuide Transportation Management Center (STMC), including:
- Real-time traffic and incident management operations across freeways, express lanes, and arterials.
- Traveler information dissemination.
- Contract oversight.
- Support for District Six’s ITS infrastructure.
The contract is expected to begin on August 1, 2026, and continue through August 1, 2031.

Period of Performance
August 1, 2026, to August 1, 2031.

Place of Performance
Miami-Dade and Monroe counties, Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must demonstrate a minimum of five years of experience in providing ITS/TMC operations support services within the past ten years in Florida.
They must be registered in the State of Florida’s MyFloridaMarketPlace system by the proposal due date.
Additionally, all vendors must submit an electronic Substitute Form W-9 to receive payments from the state.
