Integrated Jail Management System

Background
The Miami-Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation Department (MDCR) is seeking proposals for an Integrated Jail Management System (IJMS) to enhance its operational efficiency and ensure the safety and security of detainees. The goal of this contract is to implement a comprehensive software solution that includes all necessary software licensing, customization, interface development, change management, execution, implementation services, training, as well as ongoing maintenance and support services.

Work Details
The IJMS will include the following modules:

- Detainee Booking and Intake for processing detainees
- Detainee Classification for assessing risk levels
- Detainee Housing Configuration for managing housing assignments
- Detainee Movement for tracking locations and movements
- Transportation module for scheduling external movements
- Visitation management interfacing with current providers
- Food Services tracking dietary needs
- Mail Services for managing incoming mail
- Property management for detainee belongings
- Detainee Records management
- Requests and Grievances handling modules
- Incident Reports tracking
- Discipline management for handling violations
- Reporting functionalities with self-service capabilities
- Unit Management for daily activities logging
- Case Management for various operational areas
- Gain Time management based on policies
- Release module ensuring compliance with procedures
- Analytics functionality for decision-making support
- Self-service application providing detainees access to personal information
- In-Application User Guide with tutorials and contextual assistance
- Personalized Dashboards based on job functions.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a specified timeframe as outlined in the solicitation documents, typically spanning several months to years depending on the implementation phases.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed within the facilities operated by Miami-Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation Department.
