Installation of Security Upgrades at FDOT District Seven Structures Building

Background
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is seeking to enhance the safety and security of its District Seven Structures Maintenance Building through the installation of security upgrades. This contract aims to expand the existing SiPass Integrated Access Control system and install a new audio/video intercom system, ensuring improved access control and communication capabilities at the facility located at 2820 Leslie Road, Tampa, Florida.

Work Details
The vendor will provide labor and materials for the following services:
1. **SiPass Access Control Installation**:
- Integrate new equipment into the existing SiPass Access Control system for the south entry door.
- Install one dual reader interface module and enclosure, an electric RIM strike, and necessary access control cabling.
- Conduct programming, setup, configuration, and testing of the access control equipment.

2. **Intercom System Installation**:
- Provide and install one new IP audio/video intercom system including four master stations and two door stations.
- Install CAT6 cabling for communication between intercom stations and a PoE switch for power supply.

3. **Vendor Responsibilities**:
- Obtain necessary permits, provide warranties for parts/labor for a minimum of two years, ensure compliance with applicable codes, and maintain site safety.

Period of Performance
Work shall commence within 10 calendar days after issuance of an authorized purchase order and is expected to be completed by January 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the FDOT District Seven Structures Maintenance Building located at 2820 Leslie Road, Tampa, Florida.

Bidder Requirements
The vendor must be registered and licensed in the State of Florida for the work being performed and have been actively engaged in this type of business for a minimum of five years. The vendor must also provide all necessary documentation including engineering drawings and inspection permits while complying with governmental regulations.
