Installation of Diving Borads Wolfson High School

Background
The City of Jacksonville is issuing a solicitation for the installation of diving boards at Wolfson High School. The project aims to enhance the school's swimming facilities by providing new diving equipment, thereby supporting the city's mission to promote recreational activities and community engagement through improved infrastructure.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and installing a Duraflex 16-MX Competition Diving Board along with a Duraflex 1M Stand. The scope of work includes:
- Delivery of the diving board and stand to the worksite, including freight costs.
- Installation of the diving board and stand according to manufacturer instructions.
- Preparation of the pool deck for the new diving board, which involves removing the existing 1M board and stand, as well as demolishing the existing concrete base.
- Forming and pouring a new concrete base for the new 1M diving board.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon execution of the purchase order and will continue until completion and acceptance of the stated scope of work.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Wolfson High School Pool, located in Jacksonville, Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be legally authorized to do business in Duval County and comply with all minimum requirements for this bid. Proof of applicable local business licenses and relevant experience on similar projects is required. Additionally, bidders are encouraged to utilize Jacksonville Small Emerging Businesses (JSEBs) in their contract awards.
