IFB 40372 - "Second Call" - Courier Service for District Laboratory

Background
The St. Johns River Water Management District (the 'District') is seeking bids from qualified firms registered to do business in Florida to provide courier services for laboratory samples.
The goal of this contract is to ensure timely and efficient transportation of water samples for analysis, which is critical for the District's mission of protecting and managing the water resources in the region.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:
1. Picking up coolers containing water samples from various locations as directed by the District’s Project Manager or assigned staff.
2. Delivering these samples to the District Headquarters Lab facility located at 4049 Reid Street, Palatka, Florida.
3. Picking up coolers delivered the previous day and returning them to their original locations.
The services must adhere to the requirements specified in the Statement of Work, ensuring that sample integrity is maintained during transport.

Period of Performance
The initial contract term will commence in February 2025 and conclude on September 30, 2027, with options to renew for two additional 12-month terms (October 1, 2027 – September 30, 2028 and October 1, 2028 – September 30, 2029).

Place of Performance
The primary location for service delivery will be the District Headquarters Lab at 4049 Reid Street, Palatka, Florida.
Additional pick-up locations may vary based on directives from the District’s Project Manager.
