IFB 40372 Courier Service for District Laboratory

Background
The St. Johns River Water Management District is seeking bids from licensed firms in Florida to provide courier services for laboratory samples.
The goal of this contract is to ensure timely and efficient transportation of water samples for analysis, which is critical to the District's mission of managing and protecting water resources.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:
1) Picking up coolers containing water samples from various locations as directed by the District’s Project Manager or assigned staff.
2) Delivering these samples to the District Headquarters Lab located at 4049 Reid Street, Palatka, Florida.
3) Picking up coolers delivered the previous day and returning them to their original locations.
The contractor must ensure that all services comply with the requirements specified in the Statement of Work.

Period of Performance
The initial contract term will commence in January 2025 and run through September 30, 2027, with options to renew for two additional 12-month terms (October 1, 2027 – September 30, 2028 and October 1, 2028 – September 30, 2029).

Place of Performance
The primary location for service delivery will be the District Headquarters Lab at 4049 Reid Street, Palatka, Florida, with pickups from various designated locations throughout the state.
