Holiday Park Improvements JETC Bathrooms

Background
The City of Fort Lauderdale is seeking quotes from qualified firms to provide construction services for the Parks and Recreation Department. This project focuses on improvements to the bathrooms at the Administration Building of the Jimmy Evert Tennis Center, located at 1150 G. Harold Martin Drive, Fort Lauderdale, FL. The goal is to enhance the facilities by renovating existing restroom areas.

Work Details
The contractor will perform several tasks including: removing existing floor and base tile in both men's and women's restrooms; diamond grinding and vacuuming the concrete surface; re-pitching the floor to existing drains using epoxy mortar; and installing a new flooring system on both the floor and base.

The contractor must provide flooring system options for selection, which include:
1. Solid color epoxy with quartz aggregate
2. Clear epoxy with decorative colored quartz aggregate
3. Clear epoxy with decorative chips
4. Other comparable systems.

The contractor is responsible for all demolition, disposal, site cleanup, and ensuring that all work complies with OSHA regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract work shall commence within three calendar days after the issuance of a Purchase Order/Notice to Proceed and must be completed no more than 16 calendar days after starting.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Administration Building of the Jimmy Evert Tennis Center located at 1150 G. Harold Martin Drive, Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a list of all subcontractors with their bid response. Contractors are required to have valid insurance coverage and comply with local safety codes. They must also utilize the E-Verify system to verify employment eligibility for all personnel assigned to perform work under this contract.
