Hernando County Administration Building Parking Lot Restoration

Background
The Hernando County Board of County Commissioners is issuing this solicitation for the restoration of the parking lot at the Hernando County Administration Building. The project aims to enhance the functionality and safety of the parking area, aligning with the county's commitment to maintaining public infrastructure. The project will be executed under Invitation to Bid #25-C01185/GB.

Work Details
The contractor is required to furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, services, permits, and incidentals necessary for the completion of the Hernando County Administration Building Parking Lot Restoration project. The work includes:

1. Tarmac repairs
2. Asphalt overlay
3. Sealcoating
4. Striping
5. Installation of culvert pipe
6. Installation of ADA compliant sidewalk
7. Pavement marking as specified in Attachment B - CA Parking Lot Restoration Plans.

The contractor must verify all measurements and ensure that the existing parking lot pitch and/or slope remains unchanged for proper water drainage.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed and must be completed within a specified timeframe as outlined in the contract documents.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Hernando County Administration Building Parking Lot located at 15470 Flight Path Drive, Brooksville, Florida 34604.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be licensed professionals in general contracting or possess Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) flexible paving certification. They should have experience in parking lot restoration and related services as specified in this solicitation. Bidders are required to submit evidence of previous experience with similar projects and provide documentation as outlined in the bid documents.
