Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) System Replacement for Brooksville Operations Cente

Background
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Seven, is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the replacement of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems at the Brooksville Operations Center. The goal is to procure services from a qualified vendor to ensure efficient climate control in the facility, which is critical for operational effectiveness.

Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for the removal and replacement of 10 HVAC systems across various buildings at the Brooksville Operations Center located at 16411 Spring Hill Drive, Brooksville, Florida 34604. Specific tasks include:

1. Providing all necessary permits, equipment, materials, parts, supplies, labor, manufacturer's warranties, and vendor warranties for parts and labor.

2. Removing and properly disposing of existing HVAC systems serving buildings #7104, #7935, #7364, #7363, #7060, and #7070. This includes thermostats, air handling units, ductwork, and exterior condenser units.

3. Installing new HVAC systems as follows:
- In Administration Building #7104 Mechanical Room #128:
a. One 7.5-ton heat pump split heating and cooling system with a minimum SEER rating of 15 to replace an existing unit.
b. One 2.5-ton heat pump split heating and cooling system with a minimum SEER rating of 15 to replace an existing unit.

Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to begin upon execution and will be effective for two years thereafter.
