Hardware and Software Maintenance for IBM System

Background
The Office of the Public Defender for the Fourth Judicial Circuit of Florida, serving Duval, Clay, and Nassau Counties, is seeking to maintain its IBM case management server through a single source purchase from Midland Information Systems.
This server is critical for managing client files and supports the core functions of the office. The maintenance agreement is necessary to ensure ongoing support and updates for the system already in place.

Work Details
The contract includes annual maintenance and support for the IBM case management server, which consists of:
1) 1 year of IBM Software Maintenance for model 5733-UX1;
2) 1 year of IBM Software Maintenance for model HWMA - 9009;
3) 1 year of IBM Software Maintenance for model 3580 H6S;
4) additional maintenance services as required by IBM regulations.
The total not-to-exceed amount for this contract is $12,951.49.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from December 29, 2025, through December 28, 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Office of the Public Defender located at 407 North Laura Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202.

Bidder Requirements
This procurement is a single source purchase due to IBM regulations that require all maintenance to be provided by the supplier from which the server was purchased. Therefore, only Midland Information Systems can provide these services.
