Grant Consulting Services On An "As Needed" Basis

Background
The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners, through its Legislative Affairs Office, is seeking grant consulting services to support projects and programs aimed at reducing reliance on ad valorem revenue and enhancing grant-related revenue. The goal is to identify and evaluate grant opportunities, prepare applications, and coordinate grant-related activities to improve efficiency and effectiveness in securing funding.

The Legislative Affairs Office has historically utilized external consultants for these purposes.

Work Details
Consultants will provide grant consulting services on an 'as-needed' basis to various County Departments including Airports, Community Services, Parks & Recreation, Environmental Resources Management, Palm Tran, and Public Safety. Services include:
1) Grant identification;
2) Grant preparation;
3) Technical assistance in grant application preparation;
4) Coordination of grant application processes;
5) Hands-on assistance with grant applications.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on January 24, 2025, for a duration of one year, ending January 23, 2026. There are four optional twelve-month renewal periods at the County's discretion.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within Palm Beach County.
