Geotech Landfill Site OEM Well Pumps and Caps

Hillsborough County is seeking the one-time purchase of Geotech bladder pumps and well caps to be used with existing landfill site pumps owned by the County. The work under this contract involves providing these specific OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) well pumps and caps to ensure compatibility with current County equipment. This procurement is being requested by Hillsborough County and is intended as a sole source award to Geotech Environmental Equipment, Inc., at a total cost of $25,245.00. The background for this contract is that, in accordance with Section 3-205(2)(e) of the County's Procurement Policy, this is a sole source procurement because the required parts for the existing equipment can only be supplied by the original equipment manufacturer and are only reasonably available from Geotech Environmental Equipment, Inc. Contract requirements include the provision of Geotech bladder pumps and well caps as specified in Quote No. 41033323. The County also reserves the right to extend the contract period, adjust the scope of services to address changing conditions and updated requirements, and increase the award amount as needed. To submit a challenge, contractors who believe they can provide goods that are substantially and materially the same as those identified must submit clear and convincing information supporting their challenge to the intended award. All challenges must be received by the Close Date of the Sole Source Project and must be submitted through the submission section in EUNA Procurement (formerly known as Bonfire) for this specific procurement. The County will review all properly submitted responses to determine if bona fide competition exists. After the Close Date, an award will be made.
