General Contractor Services

Work Requested:
The Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) is seeking proposals from qualified companies to provide general contractor services. The work will be performed on a project-specific basis, with no guarantee of work volume. Selected contractors will be part of a prequalified pool, and each construction project will be independently solicited, competitively evaluated, and awarded through individual project-specific purchase orders.

The Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) is the entity issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP).

Background:
OUC intends to establish a pool of prequalified General Contractors. Each project will be handled separately, with its own solicitation, evaluation, and award process. Projects will be managed through individual purchase orders under the Prequalification Agreement.

Contract Requirements:

• General contractor services must be provided on a project-specific, no guaranteed basis.
• Each project will be issued as a separate purchase order.
• OUC reserves the right to require Payment and Performance Bonds for any project-specific purchase order, depending on project value, complexity, or risk.
• Larger or more complex projects may be procured through separate competitive solicitations if deemed in OUC's best interest.

Instructions on Submission:
Interested and qualified companies should submit their proposals in response to this RFP to be considered for inclusion in the pool of prequalified General Contractors.
