Furnish and Install of Restaurant Equipment for Haydon Burns Building Kitchen

Background
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is seeking bids for the procurement of restaurant equipment for the Haydon Burns Building Kitchen. The goal of this contract is to furnish, deliver, assemble, stage, place, and prepare all necessary commercial kitchen and cafeteria equipment as part of a food service renovation project. This includes various types of kitchen equipment and custom stainless-steel fabrications.

Work Details
The awarded vendor will be responsible for:

1. Receiving and inspecting all shipments of equipment for accuracy and damage.
2. Unpacking and assembling equipment per manufacturer instructions.
3. Moving all equipment into designated locations within the Haydon Burns Building kitchen and cafeteria spaces according to approved layout drawings.
4. Setting up server lines including hot and cold food wells, sneeze guards, and interconnecting modular service counter components.
5. Fabricating custom stainless steel counters and components based on field measurements and CAD drawings approved by the Agency.
6. Deliverables include all assembled equipment, CAD drawings for custom components, warranty documents, operation manuals, and a final verification checklist signed by the Agency.

Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to begin upon execution and will remain effective until December 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Haydon Burns Building located at 605 Suwannee Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-0450.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered in the State of Florida’s MyFloridaMarketplace system by the bid opening date. Out-of-state corporations must be authorized to do business in Florida prior to contract award. Bidders must have been actively engaged in similar services for a minimum of five years and provide a Minimum Qualifications Statement detailing their qualifications.
