Forensic Mapping Software

Background
The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, specifically the Florida Highway Patrol, is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) to establish a contract for the purchase and delivery of Forensic Mapping Computer Aided (CAD) Software and Training. This initiative aims to enhance the capabilities of the Florida Highway Patrol in forensic mapping, which is critical for accident reconstruction and other law enforcement activities.

Work Details
The contract involves the provision of Forensic Mapping Computer Aided Design (CAD) Software along with comprehensive training for its use. The software must meet specific requirements outlined in ATTACHMENT B, SCOPE OF WORK, which includes functionality for accurate mapping and integration with existing systems used by the Florida Highway Patrol.

The successful bidder will be responsible for delivering the software and conducting training sessions for personnel to ensure effective utilization of the software.

Period of Performance
The contract term will be for a period of two (2) years from the date of contract execution or issuance of the purchase order, with an option to renew for an additional two (2) years based on satisfactory performance.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at locations designated by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles within the state of Florida.
