Florida Forest Service Road Material - Region Four

Background
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, specifically the Florida Forest Service (FFS), is seeking competitive bids to establish fixed rate Term Agreements for the purchase and delivery of road material in FFS Region Four. This initiative aims to support the maintenance and development of state forest roads and recreational areas, ensuring they meet operational standards.

Work Details
Vendors are required to supply various types of road materials at a per ton price for all State Forest and Recreation Areas within the awarded District locations. The specific road material products include:

A) Hardpan,
B) Limestone,
C) Clay,
D) Clay (60%) / Sand (40%) Mix,
E) Shell (no clay mixed),
F) Millings (first run only),
G) Pea Gravel,
H) #57 Stone (approx. ½” to 1 ½” wide),
I) #2 Stone (approx. 1 ½” to 3” wide),
J) Riprap (approx. 3" to 6" wide),
K) Riprap (approx. 6" to 12" wide),
L) Riprap (approx. 12" to 18" wide),
M) Concrete Blend (pieces ranging from 3/4" to 1.5"),
N) Granite Blend (pieces ranging from 3/4" to 1.5"),
O) Slag Product #1 Size,
P) Slag Product #2 Size,
Q) Slag Product #3 Size,
R) Slag Product #4 Size.

Vendors must ensure that all materials are clean and free of foreign matter and invasive species.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the Vendor Term Agreement will be effective upon execution and will expire after one year unless terminated earlier or extended by mutual agreement for up to three additional years.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed within FFS Region Four, which includes Districts 15 and 17 in Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must comply with specific requirements including providing a fixed Maximum Price per ton for road materials as specified in the bid documents. Vendors are also required to submit a completed Attachment B - Price Sheet with their bid response, which must include all costs associated with supplying and delivering the materials.
