Financial Partnership to support Educational Technology as a Service for Districtwide Laptops

Background
The School Board of Brevard County, Florida, is seeking proposals for a Financial Partnership to support Educational Technology as a Service for Districtwide Laptops. The goal of this contract is to provide financial and logistical support for the acquisition and management of laptops for students and staff within the district, which serves a large student population across numerous schools.

Work Details
The contract requires the following services:

1. **Cost Reduction and Control:** Establish a fixed annual budget, leverage economies of scale for labor rates, and allocate resources effectively.

2. **Asset Management:** Implement an Asset Tracking and Management System (ATMS), integrate Help Desk ticketing with OneDesk, and provide reporting and analytics.

3. **Logistics Management:** The leasing partner will manage end-of-term return logistics including materials, labor, freight services on-site at the district, conduct data destruction sanitization for devices, and provide certificates of data destruction for each asset.

4. **Device Inventory Management:** Ensure availability of devices for administrators, teachers, and students.

5. **Lease Terms:** No automatic extensions allowed; flexible lease structures aligning with the district's calendar; no obligation for interim rent or deposits; options to purchase devices at the end of the term; eligibility for LCI capital funding; ability to place off-cycle orders with preferred vendors.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a flexible term structure that may include options such as 4 years with a 5th year extension or a buyout option.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within the geographic boundaries of Brevard County, Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Respondents must comply with all applicable federal and state laws, local ordinances, rules, regulations, and must maintain all necessary licenses to conduct business in Florida. They must also certify that they are not on any scrutinized companies list related to Sudan or Iran activities.
