The City of Jacksonville, Florida, through its Sports and Entertainment Department, is seeking bids for the replacement of the Walk-in Cooler at Everbank Stadium. This project aims to ensure that the stadium's refrigeration systems are modernized and compliant with current standards. The contract will involve the complete removal and replacement of existing refrigerator and freezer units to enhance operational efficiency.
Work Details
The selected contractor will be responsible for:
1. Demolition and Removal: Safely removing existing walk-in refrigerator and freezer/refrigerator combo systems, including panels, doors, and mechanical components; properly disposing of all removed materials per local environmental regulations.
2. New Construction and Installation: Providing and installing one (1) walk-in refrigerator and one (1) freezer/refrigerator combo, each with a 9'-0" ceiling height to align with existing structural constraints. This includes new insulated panel systems, doors, evaporators, condensers, LED lighting, and control systems; replacing existing water-cooled refrigeration systems with new water-cooled units connected to the existing cooling tower loop; coordinating electrical and plumbing connections as shown in the drawings (Sheets FS100–FS107).
3. Reference Documents: Drawings and specifications prepared by First Star Solutions – 'Everbank Walk-In Package Submittal' (Sheets FS100–FS107); Manufacturer: Kolpak (UL-Listed components) with specific models for condensing units and evaporators.
Period of Performance
The contract is a one-time purchase that will commence upon execution of the purchase order or contract and will continue until completion and acceptance of the stated scope of work.

The work will be performed at Everbank Stadium located at 1 Daily's Place, Jacksonville, FL 32202.
