Background
The City of Homestead’s Procurement & Contract Services Department, on behalf of the Special Events Division, is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide comprehensive audio, visual, staging, and lighting services for City-sponsored events. Work Details
The contractor will furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, and incidentals necessary for event production services on an 'On-Call, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity' (IDIQ) basis. Services include:
1. Audio-Visual Package:
- Audio equipment (speakers, microphones, amplifiers)
- Visual equipment (projectors and screens)
- Lighting equipment
- Stage and podium setup with adequate audio support.
2. Equipment Specifications:
- Audio systems must provide even coverage and distortion-free sound levels up to 100 dB SPL throughout the audience area.
- Wireless microphones must be UHF or digital with stable operation.
- Cold Spark Machine and LED lighting fixtures are required.
3. Service Requirements:
- Setup, operation, and teardown of equipment for each event by qualified technicians.
- Pre-event testing and quality assurance must be conducted at least four hours prior to the event start time.
4. Music Playback and DJ/MC Services:
- Provide professional music playback during events with curated playlists suitable for diverse audiences.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and continue until the successful completion of services outlined in the agreement or for a duration of three years with potential yearly renewals.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the City of Homestead as determined by scheduled events.
