Emergency Underground Utility Repair Services

The work of this contract involves providing on-call, emergency underground utility repair services for the City of Cape Coral. Contractors will be responsible for responding to unplanned repair events, such as pipe failures, storm events, bore strikes, vehicular damage, or other unforeseen incidents that require immediate attention. The selected contractor must furnish all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and supervision to complete these emergency repairs in compliance with City, State, and Federal regulations. This solicitation is being issued by the City of Cape Coral, located at 1015 Cultural Park Blvd, City Hall - 2nd Floor/Finance-Procurement, Cape Coral, FL 33990, USA. The background of this contract is to establish a pool of pre-qualified contractors who can provide emergency underground utility repair services on an as-needed basis. Contractors will be evaluated based on their written statements of qualifications. Those who meet the City's requirements will be placed in a rotation to ensure equal opportunity for assignments. However, for emergency repairs, the City will generally assign work to the contractor with immediate availability. Contract requirements include providing all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary for emergency underground utility repairs, and ensuring all work is performed in accordance with applicable regulations.
