Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Audio/Visual (A/V) Information Technology (IT) Renovations

Background
The County of Volusia is seeking proposals from qualified audio/visual (A/V) contractors to design, furnish, install, maintain, and replace A/V equipment required to support an integrated turnkey information distribution system for the Volusia County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) located at 3825 Tiger Bay Road, Daytona Beach, FL 32124.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the operational capabilities of the EOC through advanced audio/visual technology.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive services including:
1. Design and installation of A/V systems tailored for the EOC.
2. Maintenance and support services for installed A/V equipment.
3. Replacement of outdated or malfunctioning A/V equipment as needed.
4. Ensuring all installations comply with industry standards and local regulations.
5. Providing training for County personnel on the use of new systems.
6. Deliverables must include documentation detailing system specifications, operational guidelines, and maintenance procedures.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and will last for five (5) years with two (2) optional one-year renewals based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at the Volusia County Emergency Operations Center located at 3825 Tiger Bay Road, Daytona Beach, FL 32124.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must hold all necessary licenses to perform work in Florida and must maintain these licenses throughout the contract term.
Additionally, contractors are required to provide proof of insurance including:
- Workers Compensation
- Commercial General Liability ($1 million per occurrence)
- Auto Liability ($500,000)
- Professional Liability ($1 million per claim).
