Egan Park Sod and Landscape Services - RFB

Background
The City of St. Pete Beach is soliciting bids for sod and landscaping services at Egan Park, which was utilized as a debris gathering spot following the 2024 Storm Season. The goal of this contract is to restore the park's landscaping and sod to its original condition.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the removal and replacement of all sod, irrigation systems, and any electrical components. The work includes:

- Removing existing debris (including irrigation and electrical wiring).
- Grading and leveling the property to ensure proper drainage towards the north side of the park.
- Adding soil if necessary.
- Replacing irrigation systems.
- Installing Bahia grass over an area of approximately 83,000 square feet.

The contractor must furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supplies to complete the scope of work as outlined in the bid documents.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to commence immediately following contract execution and must be completed within 120 days from that date.

Egan Park located at 9101 Blind Pass Road, St. Pete Beach, Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have extensive experience in sod and landscaping removal and installation. They are required to submit a signed/notarized Contractor’s Bid Submittal, Fee Schedule, References, Contractor’s license and insurance certificates, and a Public Entity Criminal Affidavit. Contractors must also be licensed, bondable, and insured in accordance with City requirements.
