Background
Miami-Dade County, through its Strategic Procurement Department (SPD), is seeking Construction Engineering and Inspection Services for the North Bulkhead Berths 1-6 Realignment Program at PortMiami. This initiative aims to oversee the replacement of existing bulkhead structures that have surpassed their design life expectancy, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards while addressing future expansion goals.

Work Details
The selected firm will provide a range of services including:

- Project Management and Coordination
- Technical Oversight
- Regulatory and Permitting Support
- Cost and Schedule Management
- Design Optimization
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC)
- Final Pre-Development Recommendations.

Specific tasks include facilitating communication between stakeholders, reviewing technical deliverables from the Design-Build team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, evaluating cost estimates and schedules, optimizing design for sustainability and resilience against climate impacts, and preparing comprehensive evaluation reports. Deliverables include weekly progress reports, risk registers, technical document reviews, regulatory compliance checklists, cost assessments, and final evaluation reports.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for 455 calendar days from the date of award.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at PortMiami in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
