E24RE03 - Env Cleanup, Compl and Rel Serv Sur Fund

Background
Miami-Dade County is seeking two qualified architectural and engineering (A/E) consultants to provide environmental cleanup, compliance, and related services for the Miami-Dade Department of Transportation and Public Works and other county departments utilizing transit surtax funds. This initiative aims to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and protect public health through effective management of contaminated sites.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:

A) Performing environmental assessments and rehabilitation tasks such as drilling, surveying, mapping, and laboratory analytical services at county-owned or operated sites in accordance with relevant Florida Administrative Codes.

B) Modifying, repairing, removing, replacing, installing, or abandoning underground or aboveground storage systems necessary for contamination investigation or cleanup.

C) Providing design professional services and construction management for environmentally related tasks.

D) Conducting additional environmental work necessary for compliance with regulations and cleanup of contamination. The contract will be a Non-Exclusive Professional Services Agreement (PSA) effective for five years with no guaranteed minimum work or compensation.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for five years from the date of award.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various Miami-Dade County owned or operated sites.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must meet the Small Business Enterprise (SBE) goal of 11% participation in A/E services. All firms must have valid Miami-Dade County SBE certification by the proposal submission deadline. Additionally, firms must be pre-qualified and technically certified to provide the required services.
