Description

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is seeking competitive pricing for DUPUIS WEA CUSTOM SWAMP BUGGY, in accordance with the specifications contained herein.

A vendor submitting a bid should be registered in the MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) system and with SunBiz prior to the bid opening.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is seeking competitive pricing for the purchase of a deck-style swamp buggy to be used in the John G. and Susan H. DuPuis, Jr. Wildlife and Environmental Area (DuPuis WEA).

The FWC's mission is to manage fish and wildlife resources for their long-term well-being and the benefit of people, which includes habitat and species conservation, freshwater fisheries management, law enforcement, marine fisheries management, hunting and game management, and fish and wildlife research.

Work Details
The contract involves the delivery of a complete and functional deck-style swamp buggy capable of transporting people and equipment through various terrains typical of South Florida. Key specifications include:
1. **Payment Schedule**: Payments are structured in five phases based on task completion (20% each for frame assembly, motor assembly, console assembly, deck assembly, and final delivery).
2. **Delivery Location**: The completed swamp buggy must be delivered to the FWC Field Office at J.W. Corbett WMA in West Palm Beach, FL.
3. **Specifications**: The buggy must meet specific design requirements including a maximum dry road speed of 20 mph, power steering with a 40 ft turning radius, new or remanufactured parts only (no salvage parts), and must include a Chevrolet 350 Hp engine or approved equivalent with specified components such as an Edelbrock carburetor.
4. **Dimensions**: Wheelbase of 132 inches; overall length of 228 inches; overall width of 90 inches; height from deck to ground between 72-74 inches.
