Drawbridge Services - Bridge - Preventative Maintenance & Emergency Repair Services

Background
The Pinellas County Public Works Department is seeking to secure a Contractor to provide preventative maintenance and emergency response and repair services for three (3) bascule bridges.

Work Details
The Contractor will provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform routine preventative maintenance and emergency response services. This includes assessing bridge conditions, making immediate repairs, and providing traffic control as needed.

Specific tasks include:
- Routine inspections of the bascule bridges
- Preventative maintenance activities as per established schedules
- Emergency repairs in response to unforeseen issues
- Traffic control measures during maintenance and repair activities.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to continue for a specified duration as outlined in the contract documents.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at three (3) bascule bridges located in Pinellas County, Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with local, state, and federal laws applicable to this solicitation. Contractors must have a valid competency license in a regulated trade within Pinellas County. Additionally, contractors must register with the E-Verify system as per Florida Statute 448.095.

A certificate of insurance must be provided within ten (10) days following the award recommendation. Contractors are also required to submit references from at least four (4) customers for similar services.
