DMA AE Continuing Contracts

Background
The Department of Military Affairs (DMA), Construction and Facility Management Office (CFMO), is seeking professional services for architecture-engineering (A-E) services through a continuing contract. This initiative aims to establish a pool of qualified firms that can provide various A-E services statewide, ensuring compliance with Florida laws and regulations.

Firms must be licensed and registered in Florida, and the contract will facilitate ongoing projects related to construction, remodeling, and repairs of military facilities.

Work Details
Firms are required to demonstrate relevant experience in the design and construction administration for new construction, remodeling, and repair of existing occupied buildings. Specific areas of expertise should include tenant improvements, building system upgrades, re-glazing, waterproofing of exterior building envelopes, new freestanding buildings, major additions, and renovations.

The construction values for activated projects should not exceed the thresholds established in section 287.055(2)(g), Florida Statutes. Firms selected will be able to work in all regions of Florida without needing to submit qualifications for each region separately.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract start date is March 1, 2025. The duration of the continuing contracts will allow for multiple projects over an extended period as determined by the DMA.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed statewide across various locations in Florida as assigned by the Department of Military Affairs.
