DM25-107B DJ Services for Fruit & Spice Park

Background
The Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces (PROS) Department aims to procure DJ services for the Summer Fruit Festival at Fruit & Spice Park. This solicitation is part of the County's initiative to enhance community events and provide entertainment during the festival.

Work Details
The contractor will provide DJ services for the Summer Fruit Festival scheduled for June 21st and 22nd, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day. The scope includes setting up and breaking down equipment necessary for the event.

The awarded vendor is responsible for all staffing required for the event, as Miami-Dade County will not supply any labor. Additionally, the vendor must furnish all necessary equipment, including a sound system and generator.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon issuance of the purchase order by the PROS Department and will remain in effect until all services are completed and/or the validity of quotes has expired. The specific event dates are June 21st - 22nd, 2025.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at Fruit & Spice Park located at 24801 SW 187th Ave., Homestead, FL 33031.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with insurance requirements which include:
- Worker’s Compensation as required by Florida Statute
- Commercial General Liability insurance of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate (with Miami-Dade County named as additional insured)
- Automobile Liability covering all vehicles for $1,000,000 combined single limit.

All insurance policies must be issued by companies authorized to do business in Florida.
