Background
The City of Jacksonville is seeking to pre-qualify firms for professional disaster consulting services to assist with participation and qualification under the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance Program for Disaster Recovery and Mitigation Consulting Services.
The goal is to provide assistance and support for grant management, compliance, and administrative services related to applications for reimbursement from State of Florida and Federal agencies due to significant losses incurred from federally declared disasters.
Work Details
The consultant will provide specific services including:
1. Assistance with grant management and compliance related to FEMA applications.
2. Administrative support for reimbursement applications from State of Florida and Federal agencies.
3. In-depth knowledge of operations and procedures employed by FEMA and other Federal Agencies in reimbursement processes.
4. All work must comply with FEMA's Direct Administrative Cost (DAC) processes, along with policies issued by the State of Florida and other relevant Federal Agencies.
Period of Performance
The initial period of service will be one year, with three optional one-year renewals subject to approval by both the supplier and the City of Jacksonville.
