Disaster Consultant Services

Background
The City of Jacksonville is seeking to pre-qualify firms for professional disaster consulting services. The goal of this contract is to assist with participation and qualification under the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance Program for Disaster Recovery and Mitigation Consulting Services.

This initiative aims to provide support for grant management, compliance, and administrative services related to reimbursement applications from state and federal agencies due to significant losses from federally declared disasters.

Work Details
The consultant will provide the following services:
1. Assistance with grant management and compliance related to FEMA and other federal agencies.
2. Administrative support for applications for reimbursement from the State of Florida and federal agencies.
3. In-depth knowledge and expertise in FEMA's Direct Administrative Cost processes, policies, and guidance documents issued by relevant agencies.
4. All work must be properly documented and comply with applicable regulations.
5. The contract will establish a pre-qualified list of consultants who can respond to future competitive sealed bids based on their submitted fees.

Period of Performance
The initial period of service is one year, with three optional one-year renewals subject to approval by both the supplier and the City of Jacksonville.

Place of Performance
Services will primarily be performed at 515 North Julia Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202.
