Dirt Road Paving of Lakeview Street and Hilltop Street

Work Requested:
The Clay County Board of County Commissioners is seeking bids from qualified and licensed Contractors for the paving of dirt roads on Lakeview Street, Hilltop Street, and a section of SW Pecan Street in Keystone Heights, Florida. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to:

• Clearing and grubbing
• Base work
• Asphalt paving
• Driveways
• Drainage improvements
• Grassing
• Signing and pavement marking
• Other incidental construction as detailed in the plans and specifications associated with this Request for Bids (RFB)

This solicitation is issued by the Clay County Board of County Commissioners (the County).

Background:
The County is undertaking this project to improve unpaved roads in Keystone Heights, Florida, specifically targeting Lakeview Street, Hilltop Street, and a section of SW Pecan Street. The improvements are intended to address infrastructure needs and enhance road safety and accessibility.

Contract Requirements:
Contractors must be qualified and licensed to perform the specified work. All work must comply with the plans and specifications provided in the RFB. The project encompasses all aspects listed in the scope of work.

Bidders are strictly prohibited from contacting, by any means (oral, telephonic, electronic, or written), any member of the Board, County employees (including the County Manager, County Attorney, or Commission Auditor), any member of the designated Evaluation Committee, or any agent of the County regarding this Request for Bids during the Request for Bid Period. This period begins with the publication of the RFB notice and ends once a Bid Decision becomes final, after the 72-hour bid protest period has expired. If a protest is filed, the no-contact rule remains in effect until the protest is resolved and becomes final.

Exceptions to the no-contact rule include the ability to submit inquiries to the Purchasing Department if specified.
