Pinellas County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, is seeking to consolidate and relocate government headquarters functions to improve access to citizen services. Work Details
The awarded Proposer will provide comprehensive architectural and engineering services necessary for the full design of the New Government Campus. Key responsibilities include:
1. Schematic Development:
- Review initial programming and facility requirements.
- Conduct up to three site visits to similar facilities.
- Develop schematic design documents with various building configurations.
- Provide elevation renderings and written analyses of applicable laws and permits.
- Prepare preliminary drawings including site plans, floor plans, sections, elevations, etc.
2. Design Development:
- Conduct 50% and 100% design reviews with the project team.
- Coordinate geotechnical data into design.
- Produce all required drawings including life safety, architectural, structural systems, etc.
- Manage pre-permit design reviews with authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ).
3. Construction Documents:
- Complete Project Manual & Specifications for all disciplines with multiple review stages (30%, 50%, 75%, 100%).
- Provide signed and sealed construction documents for permit submission.
- Revise documents as necessary based on feedback from the County or CMAR to align costs within budget.
Period of Performance
The complete design is expected within fifteen (15) months from the execution of a contract with the awarded consultant.
