The City of Orlando is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Design-Build Services for an Event Center, identified as RFP26-0371.

- The firm must provide on-site supervision, quality control measures, risk management, and final inspections upon project completion.
Period of Performance
The anticipated schedule includes selection of the Design-Build Firm by June 2026, completion of design development by September 2026, with construction documents finalized no later than December 2026.
Construction is expected to start in 2026 with substantial completion proposed by the selected firm.

Bidder Requirements
Respondents must have an appropriately licensed Florida Contractor on their team as per Chapter 489 Florida Statutes.
Additionally, they must include either a Florida licensed qualifying agent for architectural services or be registered to provide engineering services in Florida.
Respondents are required to comply with living wage laws (minimum $15.00 per hour), provide performance and payment bonds from an approved surety company, and adhere to the City’s Responsible Contractor’s Policy regarding wage rates based on Davis-Bacon Act classifications.
