Cultural Resource Assessment Survey and a Broad Range of Related Work and NEPA Compliance Services

Background
The State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is seeking proposals for Districtwide Cultural Resource Assessment Surveys and a range of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance services. The goal is to ensure that cultural resources are properly assessed and managed in accordance with federal and state regulations.
This contract will support the Department's mission to maintain and improve the transportation infrastructure while preserving cultural heritage.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive cultural resource assessment surveys across Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. Services include conducting archaeological surveys, historical research, documentation, report development, and compliance with NEPA requirements.
The contractor must demonstrate experience in managing cultural resources, including coordination with regulatory agencies and adherence to the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA).
Specific tasks outlined in Exhibit 'A' include:
1) Conducting field surveys;
2) Preparing technical reports;
3) Coordinating with stakeholders;
4) Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to begin in January 2026 and will extend through January 2031.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties, Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must be registered in the State of Florida’s MyFloridaMarketPlace system by the proposal due date. They must also provide proof of necessary licenses and certifications for personnel involved in the project. Additionally, proposers must certify that they are not on the Scrutinized Companies Lists as per Section 287.135, Florida Statutes.
